Rock you like a hurricane
I guess everyone else is too focused on Super Tuesday to realize it's that time of year. One last hurrah before all the repenting and guilt really kicks in. For anyone venturing out, or staying in, here's a great way to festive up your Tuesday and celebrate/mourn the win/loss of your favorite presidential contender:
Hurricane:
1 oz vodka
1/4 oz grenadine syrup
1 oz gin
1 oz light rum
1/2 oz Bacardi® 151 rum
1 oz amaretto almond liqueur
1 oz triple sec
grapefruit juice
pineapple juice
Pour all but the juices, in order listed, into a hurricane glass three-quarters filled with ice. Fill with equal parts of grapefruit and pineapple juice, and serve. I think this one is a bit ambitious, but you can create your own lower cost version with Hawaiian Punch and plenty of rum. Bear's big on doing her no drinking for 48 days of Lent, so I'm sure we'll imbibe tonight.
